Laptop Bag Fit Guide: Sizes, Padding and Compatibility
Internal dimensions for common laptop sizes, padding standards and how to check compatibility before ordering.
Laptop 'sizes' are diagonal screen measurements, not case dimensions. Always compare footprints.
Add clearance
A compartment should exceed the laptop footprint by 10–15 mm in each direction.
Thickness matters too
Older or gaming machines can be 25 mm thick and will not fit a slim sleeve.
Sleeve plus bag
A separate padded sleeve lets one bag serve two machines safely.
